Scotland Eyeing Euro Knockout Stage

McGinn Believes Team Has 'Mentality' to Make History

Scotland are aiming to reach the knockout stages of the UEFA European Championship for the first time ever, and midfielder John McGinn believes they have the 'mentality' to make it happen.

Scotland have only won two of their last 10 matches, but McGinn is confident that they can turn things around and make history at Euro 2024.

"We know that we're not the favorites, but we believe in ourselves," McGinn said. "We have a good team with a lot of experience, and we're all determined to make the most of this opportunity."

Scotland will start Group A against Ukraine on June 14, and will then face England and Croatia. McGinn knows that they will be facing some tough competition, but he's confident that they can get the results they need to qualify for the knockout stages.

"We're going to give it everything we have," McGinn said. "We know that it's going to be a challenge, but we're ready for it."

Scotland will be hoping to make a statement in their opening match against Ukraine, and McGinn is confident that they can do it.

"We're going to go out there and play our own game," McGinn said. "We're not going to be afraid of anyone, and we're going to show everyone what we're capable of."
